Cargill and Caldic expands their partnership with cocoa and chocolate in the Nordics

Caldic and Cargill expand their exclusive distribution partnership in the Nordics with cocoa and chocolate portfolio Access to the complete sensory range of Gerkens® cocoa powders and a wide assortment of chocolates, coatings and fillings for Nordic customers

Copenhagen, July 1, 2019 - Caldic and Cargill have signed an agreement, making Caldic Ingredients the exclusive distribution partner in the Nordic countries for Cargill’s complete cocoa and chocolate product range for food manufacturers in Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. As a result, Caldic expands its offering for the Nordic bakery, savory, confectionery, dairy, nutritional and beverage markets.
 

After 60 years of successfully cooperating for the cocoa and chocolate range in the other Nordic countries, Caldic and Cargill now expand their partnership into Denmark. Caldic’s food innovation centers in Copenhagen and Knislinge are equipped to design functional food solutions for customers and develop innovative concepts following the latest market trends. The market-focused account managers and food technologists have repeatedly proven to create value for customers by offering customized solutions to specific application needs.The distribution agreement includes Cargill’s leading Gerkens® cocoa powder brand, as well as its broad chocolate range, which includes a variety of chocolate inclusions, coatings and fillings.
